My Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise, recently took a sunset sail in the San Francisco Bay.
We sailed from the dock at the Bay Model in Sausalito, sailed past the Golden Gate Bridge, around the Marin Headland and then cruised back.
The weather was perfect, warm, low wind, clear sky, the bay is as blue as it can be. Gentle breeze and we sailed into the sun setting against that magnificant bridge. The day after the Chinese Moon Festival brought an incredible full moon, rising behind Mt. Tam... The city Sparkled under the moonlight...
A perfect evening with a group of wonderful friend!

Sylvia, Sure looks like you folks had a ball. I do miss sailing. I will get a sailboat again one of these days ☺☺☺
Helping you live your American dream...
Nice post, Sylvia. I lived in the Bay area some years ago, studied at Berkeley, in the city near UC San Francisco medical center, and lived in the neighborhood at 9th and Irving Streets. Brings back some nice memories.
Thanks Michael - It was very nice, especially when the condition is near perfect. Can't beat that million dollar view!
Everytime I drive accross that Golden Gate Bridge, it reminds me of the million dollar view comment. Yes, it is a nice place!
Hi Sylvia, Great slide show! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! You have yourself a merry Christmas.
