How to Take the Frustration Out of Buying and Selling in Today's Real Estate Market

So, I was blogging on Active Rain; one of my favorite real estate blog sites other than Trulia Voices; I checked out Paul Slaybaugh's blog on Active Rain.  Paul is one of my favoriate Realtors on both sites as he gives great insight on real estate.

Anyway, Paul provided a gerat link to relieve stress How to DeStress   I thought this can be a great tool for the buyers and sellers as a self-defense in today's real estate market, whether it's in Marin or Sonoma counties.

Take a look, have a good laugh, and destress!

Always have fun in what you are doing and enjoy the biggest financial adventure of your life.  When you relax, that's when you can make the best decision in today's market.

Best, Sylvia

Hi Sylvia!  Great idea to turn this into a post!  Sorry for not responding on that thread, but I just wanted the topic to go away after all of the attention it received.  Good to see you being active here.  I keep thinking about coming back on Trulia, but find it difficult to come up with the time to remain active in both places.  I love the freedom to write about whatever is on my mind here, so I focus my energy on Active Rain first.  I keep getting the notifications from Trulia about questions in Arizona, though, so I'm sure I'll start answering them again when I figure out a better time management system.  Hope you are having a great holiday season, and make sure you tell everyone at Trulia that I wish them happy holidays as well.

Thanks, Sylvia, for the laugh.  Maybe that's how I need to de-stress!  My husband would probably think I was nuts...... :-)

I agree with your comments about having fun!  Whenever I give a talk or speech somewhere I always end with telling people how important it is to have fun at what you do.  If you are not, then you need to find a way to make it fun or find something else to do!  Life is too short to not have any fun!

Thak you, Donna, Paul, Melissa and Dan.  Sorry for not responding until now.  Being new(er) on Active Rain, I kpet on getting notices on Paul's recent most commented thread, so out of desperation (yes, that's the word) I turned the notificatons off.

So, sorry for being tardy.  Real Estate is stressful already, coupled with XMAS shopping (good that my husband is doing that) and the tougher market, good to destress a  bit.

Thanks again, and I will see you soon!
