Red Skelton "Pledge of Allegiance"

American FlagA friend at my Rotary Club sent us the link to the meanings of Pledge of Allegiance, beautifully done by Red Skelton; 30 years ago.  A Class Act!

I thought I'd share this with you all at the time of great changes, divide, worries, insecurity; here is something we should all reflect upon.  

This is a great country and let's keep it great for us and for our future generations!

Thanks Sylvia, I am a senior, a Vet., a flag waver (that's someone who speaks in a positive tone about his or her country) I work to bring good people into office.  I pay my taxes and don't ask for handouts because I think I am entitled to them.  I still get a thrill seeing our flag waving on a bright sunny day, and I sing my heart out when they play the National Anthem.  ...America..God Bless

Silvia.....Great Stuff.  I was asked to do a piece for our Homeowners Association for memorial day and this helps with the tone of our country and memorializes out vets.  Thank you so much.

Hi Lowell:  We don't say enough THANKS to the Vets who fight for and protect us.  I agree with you, I also pay taxes, and volunteer for various causes.  I think it takes all of us to keep this a great country, and I was touched by this piece.

Pam - Let me know how your memorial day party went.  This is from so many years ago, but so true! We need it more everyday!
